ThroneForge
First Steps

When you first join ThroneForge, you spawn in the Neutral Grounds — a protected starting zone. You have 10 minutes of spawn protection. Use this time wisely.

1
Gather resources immediately. Head into the wilderness (type /wild for a random teleport) and start mining. The further you go from spawn, the richer the terrain.
2
Set a home. Once you find a safe location, type /sethome. As a Peasant you have one home slot. Guard this location — it's your lifeline.
3
Find or found a Kingdom. Lone wolves struggle. Join an existing kingdom for protection, resources, and community — or found your own once you reach Serf rank.
4
Earn Crown Shards. The server's physical gold currency. Mine gold, trade goods, or win battles to accumulate wealth. No admin shops exist — every transaction is player-driven.
Note: ThroneForge has no hand-holding. Death is punishing. Always have a bed set before venturing far from home.
Survival Tips

ThroneForge is harder than vanilla Minecraft. Here's what experienced players know that new players learn the hard way.

Keep valuables in a chest

Don't carry your Crown Shards or best gear while travelling. If you're killed, you drop everything.

Build underground

Surface structures are visible on the live map at map.throneforge.net. Enemies will find you. Build deep or build within claimed land.

Watch the live map

The live map shows player-built structures and terrain. Use it to scout for allies, enemies, and unclaimed territory.

Trust no one outside your kingdom

Diplomatic relations can flip overnight. Alliances are strategic, not personal. Keep your kingdom chat private.

Farm before you fight

PvP gear costs Crown Shards to replace. Don't enter war without resources to recover from a loss.

Use /wild sparingly

/wild teleports you to a random unclaimed location. Use it to find new bases, not as an escape — it can drop you anywhere.

Crown Shards

Crown Shards are ThroneForge's physical gold currency. Unlike plugin-based money, Crown Shards exist as actual items in your inventory — they can be stolen, lost on death, and traded hand-to-hand. There is no bank. There is no admin shop.

How to earn them

Mine gold ore (smelted gold nuggets convert to Shards), win PvP battles, sell goods to other players, complete kingdom contracts, and vote for the server.

How to spend them

Buy resources, weapons, and services from other players. Fund your kingdom's treasury. Pay tribute in diplomatic deals. Bribe enemies.

Carry limits

Each rank has a Crown Shard carry limit. Exceeding it risks overflow. Deposit excess into your kingdom vault or a trusted chest. Limits increase with rank.

Kingdom treasury

Kingdoms maintain a shared treasury. Members can deposit Shards to fund shared purchases, war reparations, and kingdom upgrades.

Warning: Crown Shards are physical items. If you die in unclaimed territory or during a war, other players can loot them from your dropped inventory. Keep backups in your kingdom vault.
Trading

All trade on ThroneForge is player-driven. There are no NPC shops, no admin storefronts, and no set prices. Supply and demand determines the value of everything.

Use the /trade command to open a secure trade window with another player. Both parties must accept before items or Shards change hands. Trades accepted through this interface are final — scamming within it is not possible. Outside of /trade, deals are made at your own risk.

Tip: Rare items (Netherite, enchanted gear, end materials) command high Shard prices early in a season. Experienced players stockpile early and sell at peak demand.
Land Claiming

Land claiming is done through KingdomsX. Claimed chunks are protected from grief and theft — but not from war. Once you reach Serf rank, claiming opens up.

/k claimClaim the chunk you're standing in for your kingdom.
/k unclaimRelease a claimed chunk back to wilderness.
/k mapDisplay a text map of nearby claimed territory.

Each rank increases your claim limit. Peasants cannot claim. Serfs get a base of 10 chunks. Higher ranks multiply this. Your kingdom's total claim limit is the sum of all member limits.

Warning: Unclaimed land adjacent to your base can be claimed by enemies to box you in. Always claim a buffer around your core structures.
Kingdoms

Kingdoms are the core political unit of ThroneForge. They control land, wage war, set diplomatic relations, and manage a shared treasury. You need Serf rank to found one.

/k create [name]Found a new kingdom. Requires Serf rank or above.
/k invite [player]Invite a player to join your kingdom.
/k leaveLeave your current kingdom.
/k info [name]View information about a kingdom.
/k topView the kingdom power leaderboard.
/k ally [kingdom]Propose an alliance to another kingdom.
/k enemy [kingdom]Declare another kingdom an enemy.

Kingdom members can be assigned ranks internally — from Recruit up to Officer and General. Generals can declare war. Officers can manage claims. Recruits have basic access. Configure with /k rank.

Warfare

War is the heart of ThroneForge. Kingdoms can declare war on enemies, raid their claimed territory, and seize land, resources, and Crown Shards from their vaults.

Declaring War

Use /k war declare [kingdom]. The target kingdom receives a notice. War begins after a 24-hour grace period — giving both sides time to prepare.

During War

Claimed territory of both kingdoms becomes raidable. Blocks can be broken, chests looted, and players killed on sight. The live map marks war zones.

Winning

Wars end when one kingdom surrenders (/k war surrender), is reduced to zero power, or a peace treaty is agreed. The victor may claim land and demand reparations.

Power

Every kingdom has a power score. Deaths reduce power. Low power means your claims can be taken even without a formal war declaration. Keep your power high.

Strategic tip: The 24-hour war notice is your window to fortify. Move valuables underground, reinforce walls, and rally allies before the war begins.
